Ways to Reduce Costs

Here are five easy ways to help students succeed by keeping down the rising cost of textbooks.

  • The most important factor is to order your textbooks by the deadline. This enables us to have your books in stock by the first day of classes AND makes it possible for us to pay students the maximum amount for their used books. It also gives us the opportunity to find the most cost-effective solutions for you.
  • Use the textbooks you ask students to buy. Make a clear distinction between required and optional textbooks on your order so we can give accurate information to students. This will prevent them from purchasing books that they may not need.
  • Please use caution when ordering "bundled" texts. Unless all items will be required in class, bundles often result in higher costs for students. Bundled texts also eliminate the possibility of providing lower-cost used textbooks.
  • Request current editions so we can offer rentals, E Books and other affordable options.
  • Let your publisher reps know that you are concerned about the high cost of textbooks and that price is a very important factor when you choose a text. Make sure you ask your rep to provide you with pricing for all textbook options in order to find the most affordable solution.

You may use the textbook requisition form to place your order or you may order online via our website.
