Textbook Agreement

Thank you for choosing the SWC Bookstore as your source for textbooks and other course materials. Below is some important information to review before placing your online textbook order. 

Information: All course and textbook information listed is current and correct, to the best of our knowledge. Staffing changes, added or cancelled sections and faculty decisions can all affect this information. Although we update this information frequently we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all listings. Please note that used books do not contain ancillary bundled materials, such as CDs, access codes, study guides and other supplemental materials.

Pricing: All prices are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to post the correct price on our website, but all prices are subject to change. Any material that has not yet arrived will be priced at $.01 and the price will be updated when the text is received in the store. 

Order Processing: Although we will attempt to fill your order with books in your preferred condition of new and used, our inventory fluctuates and there are times when we do not have a title in the condition requested. When this occurs, we reserve the right to substitute what we have in stock and you will be charged accordingly. If you do not wish to have a substitution made, please note “No Substitutions” in the Special Shipping Instructions.   Purchases may be made by MasterCard, Visa, or Discover.

Shipping Charges: For shipments within the continental US, charges will be $6.95 for the first book, an additional dollar for every book there after. Shipments outside of the continental US are subject to special rates.

Pick Up: Orders will be ready for pick up after 2pm the next business day for all orders placed by 10am. We will Picture ID is required for pick up, so if someone other than cardholder is picking up your order, please indicate that person’s name in the order or Special Shipping Instructions section. Without this notation, we will not be able to release your purchase. We will begin accepting Fall orders on Friday, August 6th and they will be available for pickup beginning Tuesday, August 10th at 2pm.

We provide free delivery to our satellite store locations at the National City, Otay Mesa and San Ysidro HECs. Just select the site you wish your order to be delivered to under shipping instructions. Due to bookstore’s limited hours of operation, all satellite orders will available for pick up at the Admissions Office. Please allow an additional 1-2 days delivery time to these locations.
