Submit your Web Orders through our website. You can choose to pick up orders from the bookstore Lockers or ship them to your home via UPS. Orders for the Main Campus will be ready for pick up by 10am on the following business day. This could be longer during peak times (RUSH). Higher Education Center Lockers are live starting March 1st, 2023.

ALL RETURNS REQUIRE RECEIPTS - NO EXCEPTIONS.
New books must be in mint condition (all components must be present) If not, 75% of the new book price will be refunded. Textbooks with opened software or access codes are non-refundable.
SPRING & FALL
Textbooks & Required class material must be returned by the first week of Spring & Fall Semester. However, refunds may be extended until the second week of Spring & Fall Semester ONLY with proof of admissions drop statement and receipt. All sales after or before these dates are final and non refundable. Receipt & Proof of Registration required.
Textbooks & Required class material must be returned by the third day of Summer Semester Class Start date. All sales before and after these dates are final and non-refundable. Receipt & Proof of Registration required.
SHORT TERM/FAST TRACK CLASSES
Textbooks & Required class material must be returned by the third day of Class Start date. All sales before and after these dates are final and non-refundable. Receipt & Proof of Registration required.
Merchandise must be returned within 15 days of purchase to receive a refund when all conditions are met. All merchandise must be in the same condition as purchased and in original or sealed packaging. Receipt is required.
Non-returnable items include: electronics, computer disks, opened art kits, food/beverage, SWC Custom Publishing, online access codes, Lab Books or Manuals, and items marked 'sale'.

You must have your receipt to receive a refund on any purchase.
Note: There is a $25 fee on all returned checks. Those deemed uncollectable may be submitted to the State of California CoTop Program.back to top
The Campus Store now buys back used textbooks on a year round basis!
Do you have used books that you no longer need? Could you use some extra cash? No receipt is required to sell back books, but you will need to present your SWC ID.
If you do not have a Physical SWC ID we will accept an official college document with SWC ID number and name printed on it along with a valid Government Issued ID
Books will be paid under the following terms:
- Books must be needed for the next semester at SWC (based on faculty orders).
- Books must be in good condition (underlining & highlighting permissible, no water/coffee damage).
We do not buy back lab manuals, perforated books, custom published books, workbooks. Also, we cannot guarantee the buyback of any book at any time and are unable to quote buyback prices over the phone. It is also our policy not to buy multiple copies of titles from individuals.
If your book does not meet our buyback criteria, we are often able to purchase titles on behalf of our nation-wide used book wholesaler, which resells them to other college and universities throughout the country. Price is set by the wholesaler and is based on national supply and demand.
To receive the best price, books should be sold at finals period, during the last two weeks of each semester!back to top
