Textbook Rental Agreement
I am renting and am in receipt of the rental book(s) shown on
the receipt. I acknowledge that the books, whether new or used, are in good
condition with all included CDs and components, and are the property of the
Southwestern College Campus Bookstore.
I understand it is my responsibility to return the books in
similar reusable condition with all included CDs and components (with minimal
underlining or highlighting, no water damage or torn pages, etc.) or I will pay
the replacement costs listed on the receipt plus any applicable taxes.
I understand rental books may be eligible for rental fee
refund ONLY if returned by
Saturday, January 19, 2013. Any rental after January 19, 2013 will be final
and the rental fee is non refundable.
I am responsible for the risk of loss from any cause,
including theft, lost items or damages as determined by the Campus Bookstore.
I will not exceed the limit or cancel the debit/credit card
used to secure my rentals until all the rented materials are either returned to
the Bookstore or the replacement costs indicated are paid in full. I authorize
the Campus Bookstore to charge this card for the full amount of the new
replacement cost plus any applicable taxes. I acknowledge that these charges
will not be refunded. If for any reason
the card does not go through, a hold will be placed on my records and I will be
ineligible to rent books from the Campus Store in future terms.
I am liable for all new replacement costs in the event I sell
my books back at buyback and/or return my rental books to any location other
than the Campus Bookstore.
I will return my book on or before the due date of
May, 24, 2013 to avoid rental replacement costs and any applicable taxes.
